Das Programm Pixviewer ist hauptsächlich zum Betrachten und Konvertieren vom Bitmap-Grafiken entwickelt worden. Zur Zeit werden über 120 Grafikformate erkannt und eingelesen. Die Grafiken lassen sich in über 50 Grafikformaten ausgeben. Es werden Grafikformate von Platformen wie Unix, Apple, Mac usw. unterstützt. Das Programm ist in der Lage die Grafiken aus den bekanntesten Archivdateien (ZIP, ARJ, JAR, TAR, CAB, RAR, ZOO, ARC, LHA, LZH, usw.) auszulesen und direkt darzustellen.
